Message bigger diameter than the stock size (estimate since I don't have it in front of me). He would have to cut the old pipe of, weld in a plate with a smaller hole to make up for the larger hole, then weld on a stock size pipe. Then he would need to rotate the lower pipe, weld in a threaded drain hole, another threaded hole for my water temp gauge, two mounting posts for the bottom mount, and two threaded holes for the shroud. I would then need to source the drain petcock and barbed fitting for the overflow tank. All of this can be done but I don't think I'll find anyone to do all this for $20. Maybe things are cheaper where you live but Washington D.C. metro area rates aren't $20.

As for not approaching people the right way, I don't think showing this guy my howe radiator is going to impress him considering he just finished a five year project modifying my dad's MGB to fit a Ford 302 V8 and T5, complete Corvette ZR-1 aluminum front and rear suspension, roll cage, fender flares to fit 17x10", etc. I know your car is very nice but it's going to take more than that to impress anyone I've talked too into doing it. Most machine shops and welders I've talked to don't want to touch aluminum radiators for some reason?
